This twin diploma focuses on parts of design thinking, design management, and enterprise. It is offered through the Carey Business School and the Maryland Institute College of Art. Schilder combines skills from the MBA and Design Leadership programs to convey a holistic method to the hotel customer person expertiseâ€" what is Marriott doing for its friends, and the way can they do better? “The really cool factor about the (Design Leadership MA/MBA) program was that it was two completely different schools that had completely different skillsets, partnerships, college, and connections between different industries,” Schilder mentioned. For Schilder, the design and MBA levels hit the mark by preparing him with both inventive design expertise and analytic enterprise acumen. “Design is what makes it actu ally enjoyable as a result of it’s about people. And I actually recognize that I’m not just crunching numbers. I’m not just building analytic models,” Schilder said. “I get to say, what really matters to people, and how do I bring that to life?
